EMPLOYMENT, EXECUTIVE COMPENSATION & IMMIGRATION

sep

Employment & Immigration is one of the fastest-changing areas of law. Legislation is developing rapidly, and employment claims and compensation payments continue to soar. In-depth expertise is vital to ensure businesses remain safe and individuals get the very best advice.

Al Sheaily’s employment specialists boast the experience and skills our clients need when dealing with any kind of employment-related or immigration issue. We ensure that companies have the correct documentation in place to reduce risk and improve employee efficiency, and we advise on issues from redundancy to disciplinary matters and grievances, including defending corporations in employment disputes.

We advise employers and employees, on all aspects of Omani Labour Law. We act for a wide array of companies, both foreign and local, in ensuring compliance with the requirements of Omani labour law, in particular in relation to meeting Omanisation targets. We have drafted employment manuals and internal procedures relating to salary, overtime, benefits, annual leave, sick leave, end of service benefits, and on-the-job health and safety.

We represent both employers and employees in labour disputes both before the Labour Disputes Settlement Department of the Ministry of Manpower and at all three levels of the Omani court system (Primary, Appeal and Supreme).
